Police said McCarthy was lying in wait at a Pilot Travel Center in Franksville before he shot Anthony Griger, 22, who was pumping gas into his car around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Griger was a 2017 graduate of Franklin High School who family and friends called “Nino.” “He sat there and waited for the right opportunity.
